Social + Emotional Intelligence© (S+EI© or sometimes referred to as EI or EQ) is a form of intelligence that drives our success in work, in life and our relationships with others. While the concept of S+EI© is starting to become more widely understood, many are still unsure exactly what it is and how it can add to their success.
Social and emotional intelligence© is about being aware of ourselves and others, in the moment, and using that awareness to manage ourselves (our behaviour, our responses to stressful or challenging situations), and maintain our relationships with others.
Charlene is a rare facilitator who educates not only from her own extensive expertise but from personal and evolving self awareness. As a 20 year educator myself I have taught nationally and internationally and am certified in adult education. I found Charlene’s workshop to be both insightful and thought provoking. One comes away from her workshops with a new perspective in self awareness and a basic foundation in empowering tools.

“I found your workshop on Emotional Intelligence very interesting and informative. I believe it will help our staff to communicate more effectively moving forward.
I loved your style of teaching and you have a talent for relaxing your audience, making everyone more comfortable and thereby eliciting more responses/interaction.

“Charlene is a solid speaker. She is knowledgeable in presenting the information and tuned in to the audience shifting as needed to ensure needs are met. Enjoyable to listen to - and simulating when the forum is discussion based.
Charlene is credible and knowledgeable. She is able give hard feedback that is constructive yet strengths focused. These are skills that can be used in a number of different personal and professional development contexts.
